As Art Director of MyGarb, Inc. I worked directly with the owner to come up with a new business model and collaborated with the lead programmer to design a new patent pending web technology which propelled the company from one that did sporadic seasonal business to an operation with over two hundred client websites.
The new templates I designed are versatile enough to accommodate a variety of functions while incorporating the aesthetics of a vast number of diverse clients. To facilitate the fast production of sites I co-managed the migration of our production from professional freelance graphic designers in the United States to a team of production artists at our El Salvador facility. I devised a new formulaic, streamlined process for site creation and flew to El Salvador to train the staff. This team was able to produce as many as five personalized clothing sites per week including all of the files necessary to produce physical products with any of potentially hundreds of personalization options.
In addition to my function as art director, trainer, and technology designer I designed web sites and managed projects directly for special clients. I also created a small number of print materials used in various projects.
